- Description
Hexagon Group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team at a prestigious commercial building in the City of London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a facilities professional who enjoys working closely with occupiers, delivering a high-quality, personalised FM service to meet occupier needs within a Grade A, multi-tenanted environment.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of FM services across occupied client floors, managing the delivery of facilities management services including cleaning, security, M&E and health and safety. You’ll be the main point of contact for occupiers on your floors, building strong relationships and ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed specifications and expectations.
You’ll be responsible for mobilising and managing service provider contracts, along with carrying out tenders when necessary. Management of health and safety will be a key focus of the role, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements, maintaining accurate risk assessments and action plans, and keeping all systems fully up to date.
This role will involve carrying out regular inspections of client floors, ensuring consistently high standards of presentation, cleanliness and repair. You’ll meet with occupiers on a regular basis to proactively identify and resolve issues, and you’ll play a key role during emergency situations, coordinating contractors and stakeholders to achieve a prompt and effective resolution.
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a Facilities Manager role within a commercial environment, who is confident managing contractors and delivering services to budget. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, with excellent communication and relationship building skills. A good working knowledge of health and safety legislation backed up with an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is important for success in this position.
The role offers a salary of up to £60,000 – £65,000 depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to work within a high-profile building, with exposure to a diverse occupier base and a professional, supportive facilities management team with further opportunities to progress with your career.
If this sounds like the next step in your facilities management career, we’d love to hear from you.
