Engineering Manager – Central London – Trophy Site
£75,000 - £80,000
We are excited to be recruiting for an Engineering Manager to manage a new build, skyscraper in the City of London, where you will be working for a global property & asset management organisation and be accountable for the technical operations for one of London’s newest properties.
As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the property, with you being the dedicated point of contact for the engineering management. As this property is still under development, you will assist with the mobilisation of the property, and take this through to management phase.
You will also be involved in:
- Management of the technical service partners on site
- Identify innovative ways to improve on energy & sustainability
- Monitoring health & safety across the asset
- Overseeing any fit-out projects across the building
- Deputising for the Senior Building Manager when they are absent
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- Strong mechanical and electrical background (HNC/HND/Degree or Masters in a Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Subject)
- Experience in mobilisation of new build properties or project managing large scale projects
- Previously managed a sizeable property / estate; ideally this will be a tower
- A broad experience in Technical FM operations
- Experience auditing 3rd party suppliers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues.
