Our client, a large public sector organisation are now seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to work client side on a large and varied estate
The role will be responsible for overseeing predominantly mechanical repairs, maintenance and small projects, whilst also working closely with the electrical services department.
Duties will include managing contractors, the planning and scoping works, gathering quotes and tenders, managing compliance such as legionella, fire, gas and AC, liaising with key stakeholders for access, communications updates and collaborative works.
The ideal candidate will hold mechanical engineering qualifications, a solid background managing maintenance services within commercial properties and will have a good understanding of statutory compliance, especially legionella, although refresher courses can be provided.
There is opportunity within the organisation for professional development such as courses, online training and mentoring. In addition this role offers a salary of up to £53,000 for the right candidate.
