Data Centre Technical Services Manager (Facilities Operation and Maintenance.)
Our client, a leading provider of Facilities Services within Mission Critical Environments, with clients that include numerous Data Centre providers and Major Banks. They are now seeking to hire a Technical Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day technical FM operations of a data centre facility in North London.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical systems, including power, cooling, security, and fire suppression.
- Review operational costs, negotiate contracts with vendors, and manage vendor relationships.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers responsible for data centre operations.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive preventive maintenance programmes.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers.
Essential Experience
The successful Candidate should have sufficient operational experience within a critical environment to oversee maintenance, repairs and small projects on critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure. You'll have a strong technical building services background, proven people management experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with the client.
The Opportunity
