£70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

We are excited to be recruiting an Engineering Manager to assist with managing the engineering operations for a prominent, multi-tenanted building based in the City of London. The property has a vast footprint and has various corporate occupiers situated within the building. Furthermore, you will be working for a market leader in the property & asset management space, who is renowned for the opportunities that they offer to their employees.
As the Engineering Manager, you will report into the Senior Engineering Manager on-site and work closely with the building management team with the day-to-day management of the property, with you being the dedicated point of contact for the engineering services.
You will also be involved in:
- Management of the M&E service partners on site
- Dealing with any reactive issues in a safe and prompt fashion
- Identify innovative ways to improve energy & sustainability.
- Monitoring health & safety across the asset
- Overseeing any fit-out projects across the building
- Liaising with tenants, and attending to their needs when necessary
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- A strong mechanical and electrical background, and ideally hold an HNC/HND/Degree or Masters in a Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Subject, although this is not essential.
- Previously managed a sizeable property / estate.
- Hold previous experience / or knowledge of energy management.
- A broad experience in Technical FM operations
- Experience auditing 3rd party suppliers.
- Ideally will have worked for another managing agent, or property development company.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with your client and tenants.
