Hexagon Group are delighted to partner with an established real estate company who have exciting times ahead and are now seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their highly experienced facilities management team in London's West End.
This is the perfect opportunity for a facilities professional who is seeking their next step in their career and wants to take ownership of their own property portfolio of approximately 6 multi-tenanted properties, based in an iconic area of the West End.
Within this role, you will have regular support from senior individuals within the facilities management team and be enrolled to various FM related training courses. The long term ambitions for this role will be to develop you into a Facilities Manager. Your time will be spent working from our clients' offices, along with carrying out site inspections as the role develops there may be an element of hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visiting site regularly, carrying out site inspections and ensuring each property is presentable and there are no issues.
- With the guidance of your Senior Facilities Manager, you will assist with the production and management of each properties service charge budget.
- Responsible for each buildings statutory compliance and overseeing general health & safety of each site.
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service to your tenants and clients.
- Working with the relevant internal teams on matters such as ESG, project works, etc
- Overseeing the delivery of both hard & soft services, through on-site service partners
- Using the internal property management systems such as Elogbooks, and RiskWise.
The ideal candidate will have some experience within the facilities & property management sector, whether this be assisting with the management of a single site property or assisting with the management of a larger portfolio. You will ideally hold an IOSH certificate and have strong knowledge of building compliance; if you also understand service charge budgets, this may put you at an advantage. In addition to your experience, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and be passionate about pursuing a career within facilities management.
