Engineering Manager – Central London – Trophy Site

We are excited to be recruiting for an Engineering Manager to manage an iconic, high-rise building situated in the City of London, that is home to some of the world’s largest companies. Furthermore, you will be working for a market leader in the property & asset management space, who are renown for the opportunities that they offer to their employees.

As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the property, with you being the dedicated point of contact for the engineering management.

You will also be involved in:

• Management of the technical service partners on site
• Identify innovative ways to improve on energy & sustainability
• Monitoring health & safety across the asset
• Overseeing any fit-out projects across the building
• Deputising for the Senior Building Manager when they are absent

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

• Strong mechanical and electrical background (HNC/HND/Degree or Masters in a Building Services/Mechanical or Electrical Subject)
• Experience in mobilisation of new build properties or project managing large scale projects
• Previously managed a sizeable property / estate; ideally this will be a tower
• A broad experience in Technical FM operations
• Experience auditing 3rd party suppliers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues.
