Senior Building Surveyor

Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coventry University Group, and runs much of the Group’s commercial, income-generating and business-partnership work. It operates and manages Estate Services, delivering an ambitious Estates Strategy for the Group to include a large capital projects and repair/pre-planned maintenance programme. The University owns 144 properties predominantly in Coventry, with additional sites in London, Warsaw, Africa and India.

The Senior Building Surveyor will manage a team of Surveyors responsible for delivering minor projects and maintenance works across the Estate. You'll also be responsible for delivering surveys, condition reports and building advice across the Estate, and will manage issues and compliance on key items such as asbestos, passive fire precautions and building fabric. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Building Surveyor, and should ideally have knowledge and experience across a wide range of building types, mirroring Coventry Universities diverse property portfolio. You'll also be comfortable managing people and should have excellent customer and stakeholder management skills.
