Senior Project Manager

Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coventry University Group, and runs much of the Group’s commercial, income-generating and business-partnership work. It operates and manages Estate Services, delivering an ambitious Estates Strategy for the Group to include a large capital projects and repair/pre-planned maintenance programme. The University owns 144 properties predominantly in Coventry, with additional sites in London, Warsaw, Africa and India.

Hexagon FM are delighted to be retained by Coventry University to recruit a Senior Project Manager, to deliver projects from from inception to completion ranging in value from £10k to in excess of £50m, covering new build, renovations and adaptations. The post holder is expected to take responsibility for developing client briefs, carrying out feasibility studies, project planning, procurement, project monitoring & reporting, and stakeholder management. You'll also be responsible for managing a small team of project managers providing them with clear instructions and guidance. 

The ideal candidate should have experience of managing new build and refurbishment projects in excess of £25m construction value from conception to completion, and a degree in a construction related qualification. . You'll have excellent project planning, monitoring and reporting skills, as well as strong communication and stake holder management skills. Experience working in a client side role, or on a client side secondment is an added benefit, as is previous experience working on projects across various building uses.
