Assistant Facilities Manager

Tunbridge Wells - Driving License required.

£25,000 - £30,000

Hexagon Group have a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate Assistant Facilities Manager who is keen to secure a role within the facilities management sector and join a company that will look to progress you to a Regional Facilities Manager in the very near future. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a growing property advisory organisation, who prides themselves on the training and development that they provide to their employees; creating an environment where employees can fulfil their potential and a proven track record in promoting existing Assistant Facilities Managers within the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who may be looking for their first role within the Facilities & Property Management sector, or someone who is seeking to transition from working for an FM service provider to working directly for a real estate company.

As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be supporting a team of Facilities Managers, along with having sole responsibility for a very small portfolio of your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Facilities Management team with the management of their properties.
  • Supervising on-site service partners, both hard & soft service partners
  • Liaising with occupiers and attending to their needs in a professional manner.
  • Issuing permits to work for contractors.
  • Ensure the PPM schedule requirements are undertaken.
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager's with the production of service charge budgets
  • Reporting on any health & safety issues on-site, and keeping on track of statutory compliance

  • This role will suit somebody from an administrative, or front of house background seeking their first steps into facilities management. You will have first hands experience working in a customer facing role and be passionate about the facilities management industry. If you have previous experience working within the property management industry and hold knowledge of health & safety this may put you at an advantage.
