Hexagon Group are urgently recruiting a Building Manager for a top tier real estate company who boasts a prestigious portfolio of properties across the UK. As the Building Manager, you will hold a pivotal role with the running of one of London's iconic assets that stands at over 500,000sqft and is home to various blue chipped, corporate occupiers. Given the size and demands of this property, you will be part of a large building management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within the building management team and ensuring the smooth day to day running of the asset.
- Responsible for the property's health & safety, ensuring the tenants follow the procedures closely and all statutory compliance us up to date and logged correctly.
- Supporting with the production and management of the service charge budget
- Working closely with the occupiers, dealing with any issues that may arise.
- Leading on tenant engagement activities, and launching events within the lobby area
- Management of both hard & soft service contracts, which includes M&E, cleaning, security, and pest control.
- Rolling out initiatives to enhance the buildings ESG score.
- Overseeing any tenant fit-outs and refurbishment / M&E projects
We are keen to speak with experienced Building / Facilities Managers who have several years' experience managing a multi-tenanted commercial asset of a notable size. You will be experienced dealing with multi-million pound service charge budgets, hold strong knowledge of statutory compliance / health & safety, and be able to demonstrate an understanding of M&E equipment.
Our client is keen to speak with team players, who have an engaging personality and a passion for the property management sector. Ideally you will hold an IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate, or another industry recognised qualification. This position is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to continue developing their career, and you may be exposed to responsibilities that you may not have necessarily dealt with in the past.
