Senior Technical Project Manager - Client Side

London

£90,000 - £95,000 plus exceptional benefits package

Hexagon Group are delighted to be working with a global real estate organisation who own and develop an impressive property portfolio across the UK, which consists of commercial office space, mixed-use estates, and high-end residential blocks. They are now recruiting a Senior Technical M&E Project Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E projects, including Capex projects, refurbishments, and lifecycle / energy projects.

You will spearhead the planning, execution, and completion of diverse projects across the nationwide property portfolio. Working closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners, you will ensure the seamless delivery of projects that meet stringent quality, timeline, and budgetary requirements. This role demands a solid technical foundation, project management expertise and aptitude for addressing the challenges inherent in multifaceted M&E projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end to end management of Capex projects, refurbishments, and lifecycle/energy initiatives.
  • Act as the main liaison with stakeholders, ensuring a thorough understanding of project requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project activities and resolve technical complexities.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections to assess work progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, addressing project challenges and leveraging expertise in M&E systems.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Ideally hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager in the M&E sector, ideally working with the real estate industry.
  • Experience with specialising in Capex projects, refurbishments, and lifecycle / energy initiatives
  • In depth technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with a focus on energy efficiency and lifecycle management
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and participating in senior management meetings.
  • A Prince2 certificate is desirable.
