Estate Facilities Manager
Southampton
£50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
Hexagon Group are delighted to be working with a niche property management company who have an urgent need for a Facilities Manager to manage a vibrant, mixed-use, estate in Southampton. The estate consists of numerous commercial office space, and areas of public realm which will be under your management; occupiers on-site range from innovative research companies, large corporate organisations, and independent businesses.
As the Facilities Manager, you will take lead of the day to day management of the estate, and will be supported by 2 Facilities Administrators, whom you will directly manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the estate, providing exceptional levels of customer service to your tenants and attending monthly tenant meetings.
- Overseeing the health & safety for the estate and ensuring statutory compliance is up to date.
- Production and management of the service charge budgets.
- Working with the internal project teams regarding any fit-out, refurbishment and replacement projects
- Carrying out regular property inspections and dealing with any issues that arise promptly.
- Management of the hard & service partners on-site and monitoring their performance. Also responsible for the reception services on-site and ensuring that they are welcoming guests in a professional manner.
You will ideally hold previous experience managing a large estate or a sizeable, multi-tenanted property; however, our client is more than happy to speak with experienced Facilities Managers who have worked in a regional capacity, managing multi-site portfolios.
You will have a strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, this will ideally be backed up with an IOSH or NEBOSH certificate, be experienced creating & managing service charge budgets, and possess exceptional levels of customer service.
