Description

Our client, a leading Higher Education Establishment are seeking a Maintenance Manager based at their modern, multi Building Campus in Hertfordshire.

The successful post holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of building maintenance across the estate including electrical, mechanical and fabric assets, both through the management of the in-house maintenance team, as well as external contractors and suppliers. As the technical subject matter expert you'll ensure works are carried out to a high level and with minimum disruption to the campuses day to day operations through effective planning, providing technical input and guidance when needed. You will also help to maintain statutory compliance/health and across the estate, providing guidance to your own team, external contractors and colleagues in the estates team.

The successful candidate should have a firm understanding of the operation and maintenance of building services systems,with qualifications in either an electrical, mechanical, or a building services subject, along with experience managing engineers and sub contractors. As you'd expect from a client side facilities management role, good communication and stakeholder management skills are a must.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a motivated and extremely supportive estates team, and comes with a Salary of up to £53,000 plus various benefits.
